The CVSD school board recommends the Vermont School District Redistricting Task Force primarily utilize a supervisory district governance model and believes that CVSD should not consolidate with other districts.

As part of the Vermont Judiciary’s “On the Road” series, the state Supreme Court travels to one Vermont high school each fall. After being briefed on the day’s docket by Vermont Judiciary clerks, students taking business law, AP government and other classes heard oral arguments in three cases currently being appealed before the Supreme Court.

Tyler Alexander, a social studies teacher at Champlain Valley Union High School and an eighth-generation Vermonter, just published a book, entitled, "If I Can Get Home This Fall."

Champlain Valley School District is excited to welcome a new leader to its finance team. Nicole Lee, a veteran of business and financial leadership in Vermont, joins the state’s largest school district following the retirement of Laura Nassau at the end of the last school year.

For the past eight weeks, members of our Food Service team have been working tirelessly to prepare, pack and distribute meal boxes for children throughout CVSD.
