January marks National Mentoring Month, and Champlain Valley School District is celebrating 25 years of Connecting Youth’s mentoring program. The program, founded in 2000, has paired thousands of mentors with local students, providing support during pivotal moments in their lives.

Hinesburg Community School Facilities Person Carrie Justice was celebrated in late December in a video from Senator Bernie Sanders. Carrie has been a fixture at HCS since 2016, when her late husband encourage her to consider working at the school

The Champlain Valley School District has announced the selection of Adam Bunting as permanent superintendent. With more than 25 years in teaching and administrative roles, Bunting has spent his entire career educating Vermont's youth.

The new site will elevate the district’s online presence and make it easier for parents, caregivers, students and community members to find important information about the district and its six schools.
